UpdateProgress in ASP.NET Ajax

UpdateProgress control is used to display a feedback about the action being performed by ASP.NET Ajax. This feedback can be in the form of some image or a text (eg. processing … or please wait ….).
This control has one sub-element
ProgressTemplate – used to specify the content that should appear when partial post back takes more than .5 second (500 milliseconds) time to get the response.
This controls has following frequently used properties
AssociatedUpdatePanelID – used to associate this control with a particular UpdatePanel in case multiple UpdatePanels have been used in the page.
DisplayAfter – used to specify the duration in millisecond after which the ProgressTemplate content should appear.
